Scams

Don’t fall for any of the classic scams whilst abroad. There are instances of people handing objects to tourists or quickly putting a bracelet around someone’s wrist and then demanding payment. Stay calm and do not give them your money- they are just trying to intimidate you. Insist on handing them the item back and, if they don’t take it, then place it (gently so you don’t get accused of damaging it) on the floor and walk away.
